Expert Answer:

The climate in most parts of India is hot. Nylon and polyester being synthetic fibres do not 'breathe' as easily as cotton. They are unable to absorb sweat and keeping the wearer cool in hot climates. Hence, polyester is combined with natural fibres such as cotton and wool so that the clothes can be worn on a day to day life comfortably.
