What are the advantages which make L.P.G. a good fuel

LPG or Liquefied petroleum gas are considered as good fuel when compared to normal conventional fuels like coal, wood, petrol, etc., because of the following reasons.
1. The calorific value of LPG is high. LPG has a calorific value of roughly 50 kJ/g.
2. It is a very clean and tidy residential fuel. Unlike wood or biomass which when burned create lots of smoke and harmful gases whereas LPG produces smokeless flame and hence does not pollute the environment.
3. It does not emit any hazardous fumes when burned.
4. LPG is simple to transport and store.
