Electrostatic potential :-
Electrostatic potential at a point is the amount of workdone to bring unit positive charge from infinity to that point.
Capacitance :-
Capacitance is defined as the amount of charge holding capacity per unit potential difference .
Example :-
If we consider a parallel plate capacitor that has potential difference V across its plates and
hold charge +Q , then capacitance C is given as
C = Q / V
