Here, 2 - 10 = -8
-6 - 2 = -8
So, the sequence is an A.P. with common difference -8 and first term 10.
The next term i.e. 4th term will be -6 + (-8) = -6 - 8 = -14
5th term = -14 - 8 = -22
6th term = -22 - 8 = -30
Thus, the sequence is 10, -2, -6, -14, -22, -30, ...
